Glossy Glam by Rica

So since hubby is watching World War Z I thought it would be perfect time to do a review.

I recently purchased Glossy Glam by Rica (justricarda's shop on #etsy http://etsy.me/1bNqoSN ). 

I also purchased Blood of Lilith, from her True Blood collection (I will be doing a review of that on a later date.

Anyways back to the task at hand. So I am a cashier at a grocery store and usually about the second day my polish will start to chip, so for me it is a really big deal to have a top coat that will last long. I did my nails Tuesday and it is now Friday and there is no sign of chipping, shrinkage, or fading in the color. To me this is fantastic!!!! I absolutely love my Glossy Glam and if Blood of Lilith is half as good I will be in heaven.

So for me I give Glossy Glam 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Time for a change

I decided it was time for a change...... So I chopped off all of my hair. I was so scared/excited. But I love it. My head feels so much lighter now

It was so crazy seeing all of my hair on the ground. Part of my wanted to cry but at that point there was no turning back. 

Long time no post

It's been awhile since I've posted. A lot has happen in that time. So where do I begin..... Well I got married May 2. I am now the mommy to 3 furbabies; 2 dogs and a kitten. My husband is Air Force so I transferred from the base I was working at to the one we are stationed at. I started school for; Medical Assistant, Medical Managment, and Medical Billing & Coding. I am an Independent Scentsy Consultant ( alyssabauer.scentsy.us ) is my site. 

So I have decided that I am going to revamp my blog. Yes I am still going to be doing nail related stuff, but I am also going to be doing reviews of other things, promote my Scentsy business, and just my life in general.

Palmolive fresh infusions

Ok I know this isn't nail related but omg you have to try this new product. It is amazing ad I love it. The scents are amazing. And to top it off I got full sizes of all the scents for free from Influenster!! Please do yourself a favor and go buy these dish soaps. If you want an influenster invite comment and ill be glad to give you one

Made my own polish

I recently purchased a kit from etsy to make my own polish. It was so much fun and I may be bias but I think they are amazing

Julep Maven Feb box

In this months box I got:
Sally (nude)
Joan (raspberry glittery)
Freedom Top Coat ( polymer base helps prevent chips)
Quick dry drops
Oxygen Nail Treatment
An eyelash curler
Vday candy

Something new

I used all Julep colors today. Carly (blue glitter), Bethany (orange), Sally (nude). I also used the new Freedom Top Coat which is a polymer that helps prevent chips. I used a fan brush for the orange and glitter

Ombré with a glitter twist

I used 5 polishes for this:
SinfulColors; neon melon, cream pink, dream on, snow me white (as the base)
China Glaze fairy dust (as the top coat).
I painted the white (2 coats), then I used a make-up sponge and put a generous amount of the colors on there. Pressed it onto my nails let it dry then did it again to make it more bold. Then I put the glitter on top to make it pop

Pretty in pink

For this I used SinfulColors "Cream Pink" and Wet N' Wild glitter from their Fantasy Makers collection. I used a stamper for the hearts and OPI "thanks so muchness"

Camo nails

I used ELF polish from target and a dotting tool. Wasn't too neat, made more oblong shapes vs a regular dot.

Vintage roses

This was my first attempt at vintage roses. I know it's not that great but gotta start somewhere. I'm not sure what 3 of the colors names are but the dark purple and green are LA Colors, the light purple is a Sally Hansen, the gold is China Glaze Poetic. Then I used 3 different brushes
