Gardening

So this weekend I gardened. The base housing gave out free flowers (the generic yellow or orange), mulch, and too soil. So I figured that I would take advantage. I also purchased other flowers from Lowes.

So it's nothing big, it's my first. Growing up I was always "forced" to help with the flowers. I never realize how much I actually liked it and missed it.

A lot of you are probably going to ask the question I've already gotten from a few people (you know who you are).  Why are you doing it when your moving in 2 months? Well first off I like it! Second I feel like it somehow connects me to my mama. And third why does it matter what the reason is, it's not you doing it or helping. Plus I think it makes the outside of my house look nice. Which would you rather have, an ugly outside or a nice one?

No matter what you might say, I am really proud of my little garden and I know my mama is. And that's what matters to me!!

Thankful Saturday

I am thankful for my furbabies. Actually right this moment my cat, Belle, is giving me lovings.

We have 2 dogs and a cat. Duke is a lab, Belle is a tabby cat, and our newest Roo is a Yorkie. As you can tell by 2 of the names I love Disney.

No matter what these 3 show you love and affection. They truly are helping me heal. They know when I need extra love and instantly give it to me. They are so spoiled (I get that from mama, she spoiled her cat). I am so glad they all get along really well. Hence all of them sleeping on the couch together.

I would have never thought that I would have 3 animals at the same time, but tbh I wouldn't give it up for the world. Each of them have their own personality and it's amazing to see them evolve.

Duke is our lazy bum. That boy can sleep 23hrs out of the day if you'd let him. But he's also a big mama's boy. Even though Andrew will always deny that.

Belle is obviously our Alpha. Andrew doesn't think this but she gets away with everything. She will yell at you and you really can't do anything but laugh and stare. She loves to talk.

Roo is the baby so he's learning everythig and it's so amazing seeing when he gets something. The other morning he pooped on his pad and he dragged it to us to show what he did. It was so cute. He definitely uses being the baby to his advantage.

Thankful Saturday

This post is obviously a little late. I spent all yesterday trying to figure out what I was thankful for. You'd think it would be easy to know what your thankful for, but its not as easy as it seems. The whole time I was trying to figure it out, it was right in front of me.

I am thankful for my family and friends. Y'all are probably saying DUH, was it really that hard?
Well actually it was. The longer you focus on something the blurrier your mind gets. If it wasn't for the love and support I have gotten in the past month, I never would have made it.

And of course y'all probably thing this is an obvious observation. Well yes, but you have people out there that don't have anyone to support them. If I was one of those I honestly don't know what I would have done. This past month has been the hardest I've ever had to deal with. And yes I am still struggling, but without these people in my live I don't know where I would be.

Sometimes i might not show them that I am thankful, or seem like I am pushing them away but this is further from the truth.

I saw this poem and it made me think that it is something that mama would say.

So I wanted to post a poem for my family and friends, just a small way to say I am thankful for them.

I am so thankful to have these people in my live to love and support me. Each and everyone of you have a special place in my heart.

It's been a month

Today marks 1 month since my mama passed away. So i know the question on everyone's mind is how am I coping. Well to be honest with you I don't really have a "correct" answer.  There are times that I feel alone in the world, I guess that will go away in time. Theres nothing anyone can do or say to make me not feel this way, it's just what it is. To this day I still haven't broke down, I mean i did that day but that was the initial shock. I have yet to have that full break down that everyone keeps telling me about. And that scares me to be honest. Like there are times that I feel like a bad daughter because I have yet to have that break down. I wake up everyday asking myself if today is the day. It still hasn't happen. There are times that I want to stay in bed and will force myself to go back to sleep. I do this because i don't want "today" to be the day.  I still feel like my world is crumbled and I have no idea how to put the pieces back together. I know that over time they will fall into place.

I have been trying to keep busy most days to distract my mind.  I have started running and have recently become a BeachBody Coach. Today was my first day watching my niece and I loved every minute of it. If you are sad that little girl knows just what to do to make you smile. I also had a much needed relaxing pedi with a friend. On top of that we got a new baby. His name is Roo. I wanted to use a Disney name. A few days before mama died she suggested Roo, from Winnie the Pooh.

Considering what today is I think I had a good day. I definitely what to start having more good days. I've been seeing people post on instagram about 100 days of happiness. So basically everyday for 100 days you do something that makes you happy. I am contemplating doing that. The only problem is when I try to do daily stuff I do it for a few days then for whatever reason I loose track and forget to do it. So I'm not sure if now is the right time.

Nail Vinyls Review

So if you know anything about me then you might know that I am OBSESSED with anything to do with painting my nails. SO of course it wouldn't be natural if I didn't do a nail related review. And trust me this one I wont let you down.

So I partake in whats called "Nail Mail", if you haven't done one yet i suggest you try it. Anyways i have met some great people by doing this. One of these amazing girls is Linda, well she created an amazing product. Nail Vinyls. let me tell you these will change you life forever!!!

Have you ever wanted to do designs but either only one hand comes out good or they both are crappy? Well with her vinyls you no longer have you worry about that. Even a beginner can create some amazing nail designs!

These are just a few of her designs, she has everything from zebra print to lightening bolts.Your design possibilities are endless.

And now she even has decals you can put on your car or anywhere else you'd like.

I by far recommend this product to anyone who paints their nails.

The steps are so simple.
paint your nail, let it dry completely
apply the vinyl anyway you'd like with tweezers
paint over with the desired color
remove the vinyls while the polish is still wet
and ta-da your done.

Like I said its so easy even a beginner can create a flawless mani.

DP Review

So my next review will be the lovely Moo and her company DeplymentProblems
her shop has everything from earrings to tumblers and everything in between. One of her biggest items are her very cute bows. as of right now these are the only products that I actually have but down worry that will change lol.

The very first bow I ordered was Stars and Stripes one

as you can tell by the packaging she takes great pride in her products. Each of her bows, well products for that matter, have her signature red heart. There is a hair claw attached to the back of the bow. Unfortunately I don't have any of the pictures but I have worn this so many different ways.

Recently right before Valentine's Day she had a release of special holiday bows

All of her bows give you that girly touch. Even tho these are "Valentines" bows I have totally worn them other times.
When ordering from Moo I feel like a person vs a customer, she takes great pride in what she does and understands that I am not just an order number. And that to me is worth way more that the product itself.

Here's a preview of just a few of her items

I highly recommend you getting something from DeploymentProblems if you haven't yet. I don't know what your missing out on if you still haven't ordered. Have I mentioned everything is at a great price!!!!! How could you say no now?!?!

The Go To Gift Girl

I am going to be doing reviews of products that I love.

First up is one of my really good friends. Mandi she has a shop on etsy called The Go TO Gift Girl. she has everything from bullet earrings to binki holders. As of right now I only have a few of her items, but the items i do have are beyond amazing.

First item is a Ribbon flower headband

I actually received this in an Easter exchange box. Out of all the headbands that I have this one is my absolute favorite. The head band itself is elastic, but its that soft kind so there is no pulling what so ever. I actually matched my outfit for our engagement photos to the headband. I literally had no idea what i was gonna wear and then this came in the mail and i instantly knew i wanted to wear this and my outfit must match it not it match my outfit.

My next item i customized it for my niece.

Its still a ribbon flower headband. instead of it having the elastic like mine (the second pic shows it with the elastic, Mandi changed it to the lace that is on the first pic). The lace is completely adjustable so it can grow with baby. She added some feathers to this one and to me it totally made it that much more adorable. Madi took my vision and made it a reality and it came out so amazing!!!

Lastly Mandi customized me an earwarmer.

This is a Crochet ear-warmer. Let me tell you that she did an amazing job on this and literally I ordered it and within a few days it came in the mail. most ear-warmers either don't really keep your ears warm or they don't cover the whole ear. This one is not only cute but it gets the job done. And now that we will be PCSing to WA soon come winter I will be so glad that i have this.

Thank you so much Mandi for all of your amazing work!!!
