Almost There

A made it to WA safe and sound on friday. Yesterday A went and saw our new house!!! Yay!!! I am so in love with it!!!!

He goes on friday to get the keys in the morning. Roo and I will be there later in the afternoon!!! i am so ready for our little family to be together again!!!!

Speaking of Roo, he has learned how to hide under the bed! It is so beyond cute so I cant really get mad at him.

My grandmom came into town yesterday to help me get he house (that we have now) inspection ready. Tomorrow we turn in the keys and we will officially be done with Andrews!!!!!!

4th of july

Recently, Alex and Amanda where holding a blog contest to win a head band. Some how I managed to win this amazing head band from Love Sewn Together. Also if you havent figured out by now i am totally in love with Privity Boutique, so the moment I was this shirt I HAD to have it!!!! Go on judge me for going full blown festive!!!

In case y'all missed it my daddy is a fireman, so of course for the 4th he had fireworks stand-by, so I tagged along. It was actually nice and fun. It was at the local baseball stadium and they were having a small fair there as well. My brother brought my niece to see us, so of course I got Munchie(thats what i call her) Selfies

So since daddy was on the stand-by team I got to see the fireworks from a view I have never experienced.

This was the first actual major holiday without mama, that was hard!!!! She loved to be Patriotic and the whole holiday in general. Its gonna be a process to "reprogram" my mind to experience all of these family holidays without the one person that loved these the most.

Moving day (well sort of)

So today is the day that A, Duke and Belle hit the road for our new home. This alone has me in tears. But it's only 11 days until we are all back together so it will be ok.

The movers are here (yes it changed again), they are packing today and picking up tomorrow. So that gives me more time to get the house inspection ready vs having to rush. We all know movers leave a mess when they are done plus housing has a huge list of things they want done.

Roo is all over the place trying to "help" the movers or so he thinks, so I had to give him a greenie to distract him lol.

My blogs will be very bland most of the time without links or even my signature since I am posting from the blogger app. I will try to blog from my daddy's computer when I have time. So please bare with me.

This past weekend I said bye to the family I nannied for and I am going to miss my Q bug so much!!!!! I can't wait to see how big he's gotten when we come back for Christmas! We also said goodbye to A's parents, my grandparents and aunt and uncle (A said bye to my daddy as well). Roo and I will be staying with him until we fly out. My grandmother is also gonna come help me with last minute things and make sure the housing office doesn't try to screw us over.

I'm hoping from this point on everything goes as planned cuz up until now nothing has. The fact that we are being split up durring this still irritates me, but it is what it is.

Week in Review

Gonna warn you now this might be a long post, gonna have different topics in this one.

So a little over a week ago I posted how many days we had left and that we hadn't got the orders so we couldn't schedule anything. Well since then we now have the orders, but we now have to travel separately. This is not ideal in any way! But of course this is the life in the military and there are so many horror stories. So A, Belle and Duke will be driving and leaving first. Roo and I are staying behind to deal with the movers. Of course they are the reason that we now have to be split up. But thats a completely different story. So once the movers are done and gone I have less than 12 hrs to have the house "Inspection" ready and we all know movers make messes. Thank god my grandmother will be coming to help me.

So there is a plus to the fact that i have to leave later. I get to spend extra days with my daddy!! if y'all have been following along then you know i am really worried about him when i leave. I can't help it, I know i need to listen to my grandmother and let everything go the way its supposed to. But we have had so much hurt in our family this year it honestly tears me apart. So these extra days are going to be valuable to me!!! Im beyond grateful that he is already setting in motion trips to see us.

So with that being said I really wanna have a girls night, hint hint to those girls that I have talked to about this.

Since Roo will be traveling with me and its going to be a very long day for the both of us on the planes. I wanted to get a puppy sling. In the airport I figured that he could be in that instead of the bag, I mean would you want to be in a bag for 9+ hours? Plus it will get a lot of use when we get to Washington, there are a lot of hiking trails you can take dogs on and lets face it Roo can't do what Duke can, so i figured with this he could still go. Anyways he is i love with it, he already figured out that this means he doesn't have to walk and he can cuddle up.

I recently decided that I wanted to do a Scentsy Party that I will DONATE ALL OF MY COMMISSIONS to Wounded Warrior Project. This is such an amazing organization and it hits home to a large majority to us. So I also created a FB event for it. Please share this party with people, the more orders it gets the bigger the donation will be. Every little bit help!!!

I think this it probably enough for one post lol.

Influenster and Herbal Essences VoxBox

*I received these products complementary for testing purposes*

So I recently received Herbal Essences' new line,  Naked.

1. Herbal Essences Naked Dry Shampoo, OK so first of all let me tell you I have been iffy on the whole "Dry Shampoo" craze. But this product totally made me a believer. So lets face it we have all ran into the problem where we just don't have time to wash our hair, as much as we don't want to admit it we all know its true. First of all this product actually gives you volume!!! that in itself is amazing to those of us that have dull flat hair. I will admit that i have tried a different brand of dry shampoo before (won't name the product) but I absolutely hated that brand. It had heft my hair feeling sticky like i put cheep hair spray in my hair. With herbal essences dry shampoo my hair DID NOT feel that way at all, actually it feels silky smooth and so soft. Which we all know we will spend hundreds of dollars to achieve this. Whelp now you don't have to!!!!!!

2. Herbal Essences Naked Moisture Shampoo, the first thing i noticed was the scent. It is rosemary, basil, and lemon, and not like those fake scents that once your hair dries it fades away, NO i smelt it throughout the day! So i will admit yes my hair has some damage and isn't as soft as I'd like for it to be. I have tried moisturized shampoos for years but was never satisfied. My hair would either feel like it was so brittle that it was going to fall out or that i dumped a hole bottle of baby oil in my hair. Never had it felt soft and "tamed". Well with this shampoo and conditioner (to be discussed next) my hair not only was soft but for once i actually didn't have to use any styling products!

3. Herbal Essences Naked Moisture Conditioner, So as you probably guessed it I am in LOVE with this product as well. Most conditioners don't wash out easily and your always standing there checking to make sure its all out. Well with this is actually washed out so easily that was still standing there in shock that it was already gone.

I whole heartedly recommend everyone trying this product, you will not regret it!!!!

*Opinions are mine*

MILSO Blogger Network

Recently I joined a Facebook group for MILSO Bloggers.

Before that i followed only one other MILSO blog (yes i know shameful). Alex helped me the best she could when I was starting out but lets face it there are way too many codes and my blondness came out.  Alex had posted earlier her new blog design so i followed suit and got a "pre made" blog layout from Kelsey .  Kelsey was so amazing with updating my blog, she even put in a ladybug for me.

Anyways back on topic (in case you haven't noticed by now I am kinda bipolar when it comes to topics lol). This Facebook group that I joined is so amazing. The ladies on there help you with any "dumb" question you might have. We are actually trying to make each other better vs tearing each other down. If you are a MILSO I totally recommend you joining this Facebook group (link up top)

Thanks to the help of one of the ladies I learned of something called a "blogger challenge" there are monthly ones and a weekly one.

I'm hoping to stick to this. We all know how well "Thankful Saturday" turned out.

I hope y'all love the new layout. Remember check out Kelsey's stuff. Also join the Facebook group.

22 days and counting.

So if you don't know by now, we are moving. We have orders to Fairchild AFB, WA. ALL THE WAY ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE COUNTRY!!!!!!  The move is definitely biter sweet. I say this because yes I am excited to start this new chapter in our lives but very sad and frustrated about the timing.

So considering we ONLY have 22 days left you'd think we would have everything in place and scheduled for the move. Well think again!! We have yet to receive our paper orders. SO we can't schedule TMO (the military movers) this alone has me stressed. We are not able to do a virtual tour to get a new house. I don't want to live in a hotel with 3 animals for god knows how long. On the plus side we WILL have the orders by tomorrow you we can get this ball rolling. We will be driving cross country and plan to stop and site see along the way. So any suggestions are welcomed.

So the past few weekends we have been spending it with some amazing friends. I am going to miss them and the memories we have made in this short time. So Saturday was a much needed Girls Night. we went to Wine & Design. The view was amazing, we were right on the water. We painted SASSY CORSETS.

I totally recommend doing one of these if you haven't, they are so much fun.

We recently did our 1yr photo shoot. For part of it I wanted to do something to remember mama, so we got balloons (in her favorite colors) and released them. I could not be more happier than how they turned out!!!

These are only a few of the amazing pictures we got from our photographer. If you are in the DMV area and are looking for a photographer, I whole heartily recommend Heather Sarandos Photography.

I really am debating on doing a "blog calendar". I am so disorganized that I think it would help but then again somehow I would probably fall behind. If you have any suggestions they are greatly appreciated.

I have also added 2 pages to this blog, check them out.
