January Bark Box Review

We started to get the dogs a bark box.
What is Bark box?
When you sign up for BarkBox, every month you will receive a box in the mail with four or more carefully selected products and presents for your dog – anything from toys, bones and all-natural treats to hygiene products and innovative new gadgets!
If your dog is begging for more or you want to gift a favorite item to a friend, we’ll give you exclusive opportunities to order more products at a great rate.
A portion of profits from each box will go to help doggies-in-need. To learn more about our causes, read about our giving program.

Whether you’ve known your furry friend for years or have a new special canine in your life, BarkBox is the monthly necessity for keeping your pup entertained and feeling well loved.

Plans Range from the size of your dog.
We do the "just right" (20-50lbs) since we have 2 dogs that are on the opposite ends of the spectrum for size. so to give you an idea of the price i will break this plan down Mind you depending on the size of the dog you have and plan you choose the prices will vary
month to month $29
3 months $24/per box
6 month $21/per box
12 months $19/per box
However if you choose any of the plans the total price is due upon signing up so for us it made more since to do the month to month. Yes it costs a bit more in the long run, but lets face it I'm cheap and to see that lump come out at once i would go crazy.

If you'd like to sign up hers my code, and you can get $10 off with it. When i signed up i got $10 off plus a free box.

Now onto this months products.

Living Angels

"When we think of angels we think of beautiful beings with wings. This is not always the case; there are angels who walk among us on earth that are real people with a mortal body. These wonderful people seem to be sent from above and are just what we need at the moment we need them." - wikihow. This quote speaks volumes for this post.

So we all know that I was on the fence with moving to Washington for so many reason. Well I'm gonna talk about one of those reasons. I was concerned with moving because I didn't know anybody here. Yes I know shocker a person like me who has a bunch of twitter followers doesnt know one person stationed here. Ok thats a lie I know one person up near Seattle, but I'm talking about closer to where I am in Washington. Yes I joined the spouse fb pages for this base, but lets face it in this day and age there quite a few "mean girls" as spouses (I'm not saying everyone is a mean girl so don't start twisting my words). And yes I understand some people are warry of meeting new people.

A few days before arriving we got a house so I posted on one of the pages to see if I could get pictures. And low and behold my new neighbor welcomed me to the neighborhood. I assumed nothing would come of it, that she was just being "nice" that I pretty much wouldnt hear from her ever again. Yes I know the age old saying when you "assume" you make and ass out of you and me. Harharhar. Anyways I assumed that due to thats what I have experienced lately with spouses. (again I am not saying that is everyone, hell I have met some amazing spouses like Julie, Caroline, Julia, ect.) Yes I know that kinda sounds contradicting to what I'm saying, but I promise I have a point. I wasnt experiencing that welcomeness so far here. Things have completely changed from when I was younger and it was a "family" now it seems "every man for themselves"

Anyways let me get back on track. So once we left builiting (temporary housing for those that don't know military slang) we werent getting our household goods for another few days. We had an air mattress and of course we didnt have the pump. So I posted on the spouse page asking if anyone had one we could borrow for a few days. Who answers...... my wonderful neighbor! Well a few weeks had past before there was any other type of communication. Then one day I get a weird FB message asking if i would help her out and get a MaryKay facial. So I said sure why not. The rest is history.

I am totaly grateful for my neighbor, Lisa, without her I dont think I would be as ok with being here as I am. And through her I have met some other great and amazing spouses. What I am about to say next some people will call me crazy but its whole heartedly how I feel. Lisa has told me on so many occasions that she normaly doesnt come to new people the way she did with me, that she has to "warm up" to them, that she has no idea what made her do it. Well in my heart of hearts I feel as if it was mama that made her do it. I feel like mama found the best person for the job and pushed her. Lisa is litaraly my living angel!!!!!

My Own Personal Nightmare

*This post is going to be a bit all over the place*

Lately I have been finding myself replaying that fateful day over and over again. Everything is so real like I'm right back there. I am not meaning to do this. My brain is automatically doing it. I figure it has to do with the fact that we are getting closer the the day.

I can be doing anything and all sudden I can hear my daddy telling me I need to get to the hospital. The next thing I know I'm pulling in the parking lot only to find out mama didn't make it.

I keep having this uneasy feeling. Its the start of the nightmare. When I notice it I try to make my mind think of something else. Sometimes it works sometimes not so much.

Going to the grief group seems to help me. I talked about my personal nightmare the other day and its comforting knowing that others have felt this when they come up on the year "anniversary"

Speaking of why is it call "anniversary"? I find that word to be unfitting. In my eyes anniversaries are something to celebrate. But death isnt something to celebrate. Whoever came up with this has a twisted thought process.

So since we are coming up on the 1year mark, I decided to do something to honor mama. I made a facebook event for it.
MAR
04
All the details are on the event, it is a public even so everyone is more than welcome to join.
If you are able to participate it's simple just get paper lanterns and release them in honor of my mama! Take pictures and post them.

So onto my husband's review. As for visual results he hasnt seen much of a difference. However physical/internal results are different. He has noticed that his muscle recovery time is signifacantly less. He seems to have more energy for the gym.
Pros- great muscle recovery, increased blood flow, and boosts of energy.

Cons- only thing that stinks about is that it's pills. I'd probably but it again after im done with the bottle if it was in powder form to mix with water.

Lightening Rod of Hate

This week I went to my first group counseling. I have so many emotions going on. I feel like it was good that I went. I feel like I can finally breath. I'm not gonna say that I feel like weight was lifted and that everything is going to be easy now because that would be a lie. The weight was not lifted and I don't think it ever will be. However I will get stronger and in turn the weight won't be as heavy.

So I figured there was no time like the present to get this out there. For those that have gone through a death you know exactly what I am meaning, for those that haven't I will try to word everything the best that I can.

Through all of this I have been angry, hurt, scared and way more emotions. When you are feeling those things you end up having angry outbursts. Who do you normally have those one, more than likely your spouse or someone equally as close. In my life it was my husband. For months on end I used him as my "lightening rod of hate", I pushed him away. The best way I could explain why is because I didn't (still don't somethimes) feel like I don't deserve to be happy. How could I be happy?!, My mama is gone.

I am not perfect nor have I ever tried to be. There is no such thing as "perfect" but that's a whole other topic.

I have finally realized that this is not what mama would have wanted. She would want me to be happy. She loved(s) A, and why wouldn't she, he's utterly amazing. Throughout all this he hasn't taken the easy way and just walked out.

So here and now I want to say I am sorry that I have been a "bitch" to you throughout all this. I cannot promise that there won't be times where I have a set back and I push you away. I can however promise that with time they will be few and far between and eventually over time will stop. I love you to the moon and back

*POWERED BY BRANDBACKER*

So I cut my hair over a year ago thinking "Oh my hair grows fast, it will be long again in no time", yup that totally didnt happen. I have been in that dreaded awkward hair growth stage for damn near a year now. I have tried everything under the sun and nothing has really help until now!!!! My hair normaly falls out in clumps in the winter time. Yes i still have hair that falls out but not nearly as much, so in turn makes my hair fuller. It is becoming more managable and softer. I still do my coconut oil mask once a week. To help keep moisture in my hair.
